Poetry in the shower

Sometimes inspiration hits you when (and where!) you don’t expect it. In the shower for example. Random words slowly turn into sentences. Sentences slowly turn into sections. Before you know it, there’s a bit of poetry involved. Simple. About life. About happiness. About everything you want. It’s all about your own interpretation.

When you’ve had enough
and it’s all too much
I’ll be there
to make the tears disappear
to restore the laughter in your life
I’ll be there

When you’ve had enough
and it’s all too much
Just take my hand
We’ll buy a small place
our own piece of land
Where the sun will shine forever
Where birds will sing their song
Where deers will drink from the river
Where no one will ever be alone

When you’ve had enough
and it’s all too much
I’ll be there
to guide you to a happy place
to love you unconditionally
I’ll be there
Together we fight
Together we win
And be as happy as we can be
