Reading challenges

January – Het Achterhuis by Anne Frank
Start the year with a book you wish you’d read in school.

February – Three comrades by E.M Remarque
Read a book recommended by a friend.

March – Circe by Madeline Miller
They say don’t judge a book by its cover but this month we try to find the most beautiful cover and read the book.

April – The Chimney Sweeper’s Boy by Barbara Vine*
Read a book with more than 500 pages (if you can’t finish this in one month; then read a short story in May). *Because this wasn’t 500 pages exactly (441 to be more precised) I also read Uncommon type by Tom Hanks and Milk and honey by Rupi Kaur.

May
Read a book with a number in the title.

June
Read a book that takes place in your hometown.

July
Summer time! Read a book featuring a holiday.

August
Random! Read a book that starts with the same letter as your first name.

September
Read a debut novel.

October
This one can be quite challenging: read two books that share the same title.

November
Read a book made into a movie this year.

December
It’s Christmas; time to read a childhood favorite.
